Film setting and location ideas...
As you can probably guess from the name of this film it is set in Arizona, way out in the desert. The surrounds are dry and vast, dotted with cactus and rocks. As much as I would love to re-create these scenes, in plymouth this could become quite complicated. However, I am eager to explore other possibilites that would inable me to mimic this setting such as the desert house at paignton zoo, or taking a trip to the eden project as I'm sure they would have the resources I need.
Also during the film there are a few scenes shot on a long road in the middle of know-were, which I thought mirrored dartmoor perfectly.

Raising Arizona...
It's the story of "Ed" (short for Edwina), a policewoman who falls in love with "Hi" (short for H.I. McDonnough), while she's taking his mug shots. They marry only to discover they are unable to conceive a child. Desperate for a baby, the pair decide to kidnap one of the quintuplets of furniture tycoon Nathan Arizona. The McDonnoughs try to keep their crime secret, while friends, co-workers and a feral bounty hunter look to use Nathan Jr. for their own purposes.
Summer viewing..
